Securing the cryptographic foundation.

Electronic identity documents require secure cryptographic processes to protect their data and establish trust during personalization and later verification.

Muehlbauer integrates key management and PKI capabilities into the personalization environment. Cryptographic keys can be securely generated, stored and used for the processes required to personalize and authenticate electronic documents.

Within the MB TRUST infrastructure, Hardware Security Modules provide a protected environment for cryptographic keys, while the Document Signer digitally signs data stored in electronic documents.

This creates a secure connection between personalization, cryptographic protection and subsequent document verification.
