In the field
Document design becomes meanigful when it works at national scale.
Muehlbauer has implemented more than 300 identity-document solutions combining the document itself with enrollment, databases, biometrics, personalization, issuance and secure communication infrastructure.
One example is the National eID Card and Mobile ID solution in El Salvador.
The project included the national ID card, enrollment and issuance infrastructure, national database, biometric system, document management, personalization systems and software. A later generation of the card introduced enhanced security features and a polycarbonate construction with multiple laser image technology and MB ALFRESCO® personalization. The physical identity was subsequently extended into a mobile ID.
