"To be an entrepreneur means: to accept responsibility"
The Roding-based Josef Mühlbauer Foundation was established by the founder of the Mühlbauer Group, Josef Mühlbauer, on November 22, 2005. The objective is to support social projects, especially in the region.
Josef Mühlbauer has always understood his entrepreneurial success as a special responsibility for the region and its people. Under his leadership, the Mühlbauer Group regularly supports numerous mostly regional and charitable initiatives, as well as charitable projects with a large amount of money. Actions, such as the Mühlbauer Run in favour of an aid project for children, reveal that he is even able to motivate his employees to be helpful and to actively integrate them in fundraising campaigns.
The formation of an own foundation was therefore only a logical step in the social commitment of Josef Mühlbauer. The aim of the foundation is to provide a long-term and sustainable support for social matters in the region and to promote or realize all sorts of initiatives in accordance with the broad Foundation purpose.
