Sheet hot stamping
At the hot stamping process a KINEGRAM® or hologram is applied onto a sheet by heat, time and temperature. So the KINEGRAM®/hologram is strongly welded on this sheet before the sheet collating process starts.
Sheet collating
This production step means collating and alignment of different sheet layers for laminated holder pages. After this step you can apply security threads with the STC 100.
Sheet lamination
After the correct alignment and prefixing of the single sheet layers they have to be laminated to get a stable holder page.
Holder page punching
At this process step single holder pages are punched out of the laminated sheets or mono-layers.
Holder page testing
Inlay and holder page layers can be electrically and / or optically tested as well as pre-personalized in the formats 2-up, 3-up or just as single ones, to ensure only good inlay layers or holder pages are processed.
